Vice President, Human Exploration and Operations Space Systems Division
Dave Hastman is the Vice President of Northrop Grumman Innovation System’s Human Exploration and Operations Business Area. He is responsible for overall execution and financial performance of the Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) and Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) contracts supporting NASA’s International Space Station and Gateway Programs.
Previously, Mr. Hastman served as the Program Director of the CRS Program where he managed the successful Cygnus Missions delivering cargo to the International Space Station. A long-time Northrop Grumman employee, Mr. Hastman has also held the position of Vice President of Operations for the Space Systems Group responsible for all internal manufacturing and space vehicle integration and test. In his 33 year career, Mr. Hastman has also held several positions in the Launch Systems Group including Vice President of Mission Assurance and Pegasus Program Manager.
Mr. Hastman has received the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal. As a member of the Cygnus team, he has also received the AIAA Space Systems Award and the RNASA Stellar Award for the COTS Development Program. A native of Ohio, Mr. Hastman holds a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Akron University.
